Situated on the ‘Speakeasy Belt’, Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932 in New York City near the end of prohibition. A place of beauty offering high-quality entertainment at prices everyone could afford, it was intended to entertain and amuse, but also to elevate and inspire. If you needed a little more inspiration however, there were about 100,000 speakeasies situated within the city at the time of opening!
